Vasilios Community Re-Entry Initiative (VCRI) recognizes that formerly incarcerated individuals need more support to achieve their goals. Our services offer skill building techniques that booster confidence, self-esteem and self identity and addresses the issues often caused by incarceration. One key area of focus is to provide ex-offenders coming out of adult correctional facilities on ‘post supervision’ by the Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Districts with opportunities to successfully become a contributing member in our global society.
VCRI is an intensive 12-month faith-based program that offers several core-comprehensive services that the majority of formerly incarcerated offenders need upon release. VCRI aides and empowers all individuals to successfully achieve re-entry and a new lifestyle free of crime. Although the demands are high, VCRI passionately feels that providing solutions to the many barriers our ex-offenders face can reduce the rate of recidivism. And, slowly but surely build back the integrity of our families in Virginia by providing a safe and healthier place for our future generations.
